This sherry cask single malt was matured for 10 years in traditional 250 litre Oloroso casks from Jerez (Spain) and represents the oldest fully matured sherry cask whisky known to be released by any Australian distillery to date and continues Hellyers Road’s legacy of producing sherry cask whiskies of incredible distinction and quality.

This Oloroso de Jerez 10-year-old release is a small batch marriage of carefully selected casks from 2014. Hellyers Road Distillery is in the enviable position of having the foresight to lay down our new make spirit in a significant parcel of these exceptional casks from de Jerez in Spain for full maturation. Reaping the rewards of patience now 10 years later we invite you to savour this sweet and savoury dram, a melange of flavours to delight the senses, you will not be disappointed!

Nose - Toffee, treacle, orange zest, brioche
and clove.
Palate - Palate coating with rich caramel, honey, subtle chocolate and stewed fruits
Finish - Incredibly smooth and elegant with morish sweet notes.
I’m not sophisticated enough to express how this tastes using fancy tasting notes so I’ll just say it’s on the lighter and sweeter side but in no way too sweet and it’s my favourite whisky at the moment.
I would say that if you are new to whisky and want something to try that is a good entry point, choose this one!
For a 10 year old Tassie whisky that tastes this good, it’s a bargain at that price.
I'm not a whiskey connoisseur by no means. I have been drinking various whiskies for the last 4 decades. Hellyers Road Distillery is without a doubt runt up there with my fave Islay distillers. This is dangerously easy drinking. A thing of beauty in the glass. Smooth and complex at the same time. You won't regret this. Easily my top 3 for 2025.
I couldn’t have tasted a better whisky to toast and celebrate the life of my Mum.
The whiskey was very mellow and smooth, with a sherry and Cherry finish. Great by itself or with your favourite mixer.
I bought this and the 7 year peated at the same time.It would not be fair of me to compare the two as they are vastly different but both stand out on their own.Smooth ,rich and complex it made me look at whisky in a different way..
