The 21 Club is Australia’s most exclusive whisky club, reserved for select Hellyers Road shareholders whose support has been instrumental in our journey. The 21 Club offers them access to 21 unique bottlings of Hellyers Road’s oldest, rarest (and now award-winning) whiskies.
Each of our 21 Club releases has featured a Tasmanian endemic rainforest tree, species that are unique, beautiful and brought to life in the drawings of Inti Callaghan on the labels of the 21 Club whiskies.
There is a deep connection between these trees and our whiskies, as they both thrive in the distinct climatic conditions of North West Tasmania. It's the regular rainfall, cool reliable temperatures and pristine air that preserves the growth of these forests and likewise our whiskies, as they mature with the gentle modulation in temperature both daily and seasonally. Magnificent trees and magnificent whiskies.
Each illustration begins with extensive research of the plants in their natural habitats to gain a strong understanding of their botanical anatomy, as well as the elements that shape them and how I may encapsulate that. Often the history of the area, or a significant memory of my own, influences my choice of plant and some aspect of it may be included within the work.

21 Club exclusive presentation case
The 21 Club Presentation Case is more than a display box; it is a piece of North West Tasmanian artistry, crafted to showcase the artisanal whiskies of the 21 Club. This five-bottle presentation case is made to order and also features leather coasters at the base of each bottle.
Each 21 Club Presentation Case will be handcrafted on the North West Coast of Tasmania by local master craftsman Rob Van Tholen, using Hydrowood Celery Top Pine salvaged from the depths of Tasmania’s West Coast.

No. 1 Tanglefoot
Matured for 17 years in an American oak, ex-bourbon cask and for 4 years in a second fill Oloroso sherry cask.
No. 2 Celery Top
Selected 2003 casks, fully matured in American oak ex-bourbon, showcasing the signature Hellyers Road style.
No. 3 Blue Gum
Matured for 16 years in American oak first fill ex-bourbon then finished in a second-fill Tawny Port cask.
No. 4 Paperbark
Matured for 20 years in American oak first fill ex-bourbon then secondary maturation in a Maury Rancio cask.
No. 5 Native Olive
Matured for 20 years in American oak first fill ex-bourbon, finished in a rare French Rivesaltes Ambré dessert wine cask.
No. 6 Blackheart
Richly peated single cask 4050.04, matured for 21 years in an American oak ex-bourbon cask.
No. 7 Myrtle
Matured for 20 years in American oak ex-bourbon, secondary maturation in a Fernando de Castilla Pedro Ximenez cask.
No. 8 Leatherwood
Matured for 20 years in American oak first-fill ex-bourbon, then 2 further years in fresh first-fill ex-bourbon cask.
No. 9 Giant Ash
Matured for 20 years in American oak ex-bourbon, secondary maturation in a Banyuls fortified wine cask.
