Celebrity Chefs love Hellyers Road

Master Chef Judge, Gary Mehigan, recently announced to readers of Fairfax Newspaper’s Good Food supplement that his favourite Australian single malt is Hellyers Road. What a great honour that such a respected ‘foodie’ has recognised the quality of our whisky. We already knew he was a good judge, but this acknowledgment confirms our faith!

And more on the topic of Master Chef – former runner-up, Ben Milbourne, recently dropped into Hellyers Road Distillery and road tested the new 12 Year single malt (see pic right). Ben, who was raised a stone’s throw from the distillery and went to school in Burnie, has just signed a deal to host his own TV program with a major Australian broadcaster. The yet to be named show will go to air nationally later this year.
