Whisky Walk Tour
Immerse yourself in the world of whisky, from distillery to bond store and beyond. Discover the history behind Australia's Finest Aged Whisky and see how it's crafted, with the chance to sample aged and rare whiskies direct from cask, and even pour, bottle and hand-seal your own.
The fully guided tour runs around 45 minutes and is $25 per person, including a nip of whisky. Upgrade your tasting to an aged and rare single malt (20 years and older) for just $10 more.
Distillers Choice
Inspired by whisky’s icons, our Distillers' Choice experience lets whisky lovers taste and hand bottle their own 500mL cask strength whisky using the classic the historical Copper Dog system. With barrels aged up to 22 years, the Distillers' Choice room at Hellyers Road houses 14 casks from 14 distinct regions across 6 countries of origin, spanning Europe to United States, and of course Australia. We invite you to visit us in North West Tasmania to taste through this remarkable collection and take home Australia's Finest Aged Whisky, bottled by your own hand.
Off Season 2026: B-Sides
Timed with the launch of the fifth edition of our cult single malt, Dark Harmony (a collaboration with local heroes Communion Brewing), we're offering a behind-the-scenes tasting of the Dark Harmony and its B-sides, in the comfort of our listening lounge at the Cellar Door.
These are the casks Communion used to age their beers, not included in the official releases, but left to mature in the Hellyers Road Bond Store. Available exclusively at the Hellyers Road Cellar Door this Off Season: two Dark Harmonies, and two B-sides direct from cask.
