An iconic partnership started in 2024 between Tasmania's world-class golf course and Hellyers Road. Two Tasmanian single malts, personally selected by Richard Sattler, the founder of Barnbougle.
Barnbougle Edition 1
8 Year Old
A sublime 8 Year Old port finished single malt, single cask. With hints of orange peel, buttered toast and clove on the finish, this whisky is the perfect dram to sip while finishing a long and rewarding round on the golf course.
Launched at the Tasmanian Whisky Week Showcase in August, 2025.
Barnbougle 20th Anniversary Release
20 Year Old
Celebrating 20 years of Barnbougle’s world-renowned golfing legacy with a whisky as extraordinary as the milestone itself.
Filled into barrel in 2004, this single malt was matured in ex-bourbon American oak for 18 years. In 2022 it was transferred into a single French oak cask previously used to age fortified Tasmanian Ruby Pinot.
A decadent whisky layered with notes of Christmas cake, candied citrus, warm spice and velvety dark fruits, finishing long with lingering warmth.
RACV Club
Two bespoke, members only, Tasmanian single malts, crafted by Australia's oldest operating whisky distillery. Exclusively for RACV Club members. RACV Club helped pioneer Victoria’s motoring culture in the early 20th century, while Hellyers Road Distillery forged new ground in Tasmania’s emerging whisky industry in the 1990s.
Two new Tasmanian single malt whiskies, crafted by Hellyer Road are available exclusively at RACV Club bars, restaurants, club shops and online.
RACV Club Trio Cask
9 Year Old
The Nine Year Old RACV Club Trio Cask brings together three unique casks - American oak, oloroso sherry and the finest tawny port. A rich and fruit-forward single malt, this 9 Year Old is much more than the sum of its parts.
RACV Club
18 Year Old
Made with passion and patiently aged to perfection, the RACV Club 18 Year Old is unmistakably North West Tasmanian. Matured in American oak ex-bourbon for 14 years, then coming of age in an oloroso sherry cask, this is a truly beguiling single malt, with complexity to ponder for hours.
The Tasman Cask 1 & 2
The Tasman is Hobart's premier luxury hotel, where art deco glamour meets modern refinement. Named in The World's 50 Best Hotels list for 2024, it is home to Peppina Restaurant and Mary Mary Bar.
Since 2024, Hellyers Road has been the whisky partner of the hotel and venues, with our single malts available in rooms, the gift shops and some of the finest cocktails. In addition to full 700mL bottles, both Tasman Cask 1 & 2 were created as 200mL room service bottles, for guests to enjoy in their luxurious rooms.

A sublime single cask, single malt whisky that was matured for its whole life in one 50 year old port cask for over 9 years. Cask #14357.03.
The Tasman Cask 2
10 Year Old
This beautifully nuanced single cask, single malt whisky was matured for its whole 10 years in one second-fill ex-Jack Daniels American oak cask. With global explorers and collectors in mind, this cask 15161.16 was selected by the Tasman team for its mature and complex flavours.

21 Year Old
Distilled in 2022, this single malt reflects Hellyer's Road’s relentless pursuit of distinction, a testament to our artistry and dedication. With deep, layered character and exceptional aging, this whisky was hand-selected by the Candela Nuevo team exclusively for their members.
Dark Harmony
Dark Harmony is our yearly winter collaboration with local heroes Communion Brewing from Burnie. An experimental series of beers aged in whisky casks and single malts that are then aged in those beer casks.

The Cove
The Cove is award-winning luxury accommodation with breath-taking coastal views, situated on the pristine North West Coast of Tasmania. Earlier this year, we partnered with The Cove to create small format Double Cask, which is now available in all of their suites. A perfect 200mL bottle to enjoy surrounded by the stunning natural beauty and ocean views.
