200ml Double Cask
Aged in 200L American Oak ex-Bourbon casks for a minimum of five years, the whisky then sees secondary maturation in French Oak barriques that had Tasmanian Pinot Noir aged in them. This secondary maturation in French Oak ex Tasmanian Pinot Noir casks adds beautiful red berry notes and a unique Tasmanian influence to the malt. With rich and full boasting vibrant notes of raisin toast, stewed fruits and candied orange with a hint of clove, our signature Double Cask is approachable in style and a whisky you’ll keep coming back for.
200ml The Journeyman
A small batch marriage from the Hellyers Road Distillery’s highly regarded 12 year old American Oak casks and our premium aged 5 year old Port casks - offering honeycomb, sea-salted bread and orange zest with a herbal weave. For fans of the Hellyers Road Original 12 year old of the past this is the perfect replacement.
I brought this set to share with family members in celebration of my Dad. It was perfect, just the way he liked it. It also was great whiskey, I have since got a bigger bottle.
