Collection Anthology: Behind the Labels
The Collection Anthology series, made for La Maison du Whisky, is a selection of two of our finest casks. The finest casks demand the finest packaging, so we partnered with local artist CraIg Williams to adorn the bottles in the most Tasmanian of ways.
Craig Williams, a Tasmanian painter, creates beautiful wildlife portraits using vintage book pages as both the inspiration and substrate onto which the wildlife are depicted. He uses book pages as his canvas to create intentional juxtapositions between his art and printed text.
Local species, the Fairy Penguin and Tasmanian Devil, were chosen for this series, painted and now sit proudly on shelves of the finest whisky shops and venues across Europe.
We met Craig at Deloraine to take a few photos of his art and these stunning single malts.
