Introducing the latest release from our Anniversary Collection, a limited edition series of hand-bottled whiskies celebrating the best of Hellyers Road Distillery.

Aged for 20 years, this is the third of four exclusive releases, comprising just 100 bottles from our 2004 vintage. Brewed from Gairdner barley and distilled on 16th September 2004, this single cask first-fill American oak ex-Jack Daniels cask is an unrivalled expression of artisanal Tasmanian Single Malt Whisky, hand-selected by our Head Distiller and bottled at an impressive 57.4% ABV.

Tasting Notes

Nose

A soft scent of malted biscuits and spring florals rises gently, joined by muddled strawberries, pineapple and pawpaw. Vanilla and meadow honey swirl with gingersnap and marmalade.

Palate

The palate is rich and indulgent, opening with classic bourbon cask vanilla and crème caramel. Strawberries and spiced biscuit meet a lively edge of pineapple.

Finish

The finish is long and generous, with warmth that lingers and sweetness that slowly fades.

‘The Road - Days End’ by David Fooks, features the third frame of an artwork commissioned to explore the landscape of the Hellyers Road region and the changes it sees throughout each day, passing seasons and years.
