The Iberian is now a 10 Year Old
The much-loved Iberian is back, and this time as a 10 Year Old! Acclaimed by Christopher Coates on the Whisky Stories Podcast, The Iberian celebrates the peninsula that is the ancestral home of the great fortified wines.
A deeply complex whisky, this 10 Year Old is a marriage of whiskies fully matured in Spanish oloroso sherry casks and 50+ year old Australian port casks. It has warmth and sweetness in each sip, with notes of sultanas, stewed fruits, spice, subtle orange zest and florals.
We headed to Melbourne's Spanish institutions - MoVida and MoVida Aqui - to capture The Iberian for the launch amongst the iconic atmosphere and Frank Camorra's exquisite food. Here are a couple of photos from the day. Thanks to Sileo Media for capturing The Iberian so beautifully.
