We are so far south as to be bathed in the brilliant spectacle of the polar Southern Lights, Aurora Australis.
This whisky celebrates the fundamental influence of our unique location. It reveals its complexity in shifting layers of aroma and flavour, as vividly as Aurora Australis under which it was distilled and aged.
Nose - Crème brûlée and warm brioche lead the way, followed by buttery shortbread and rich vanilla custard. Hints of gingerbread and delicate florals add balance.
Palate - Lush apricots and ripe peaches swirl in velvety custard, brightened by bursts of pineapple. A lingering sweetness entices another sip.
Finish - A moreish dram with a medium finish and lasting sweetness.
